Impressive resume, but what he does now?
1. Works as a puppet under Sonia Gandhi.
2. As per congress philospphy, he wants to implement reservations and sings a tune "merit can not be a sole criterion" looks like he has forgotten all economics lessons that its merit alone that can sustain any organization.

How you are ignoring the fact that he the most educated Prime Minister India ever had.
As for as his capacities it is his economics which is taking our country on the roads of economic reforms for the social change.

few more qualifications
1. delinked terrorism from indo-pak relations. i.e gave free hand to terrorism.
2. sold out to musharraf over so called joint machanism, failed to provide any leadership over internal security.
3. not a single worthwhile reform has taken place, only retrograde steps like reservation, dilution of universal education commitment.
4. acts as a dummy, makes india a banana republic.
5. cannot hold against external pressure,( read U.S.) sold out in N_deal, expelled cabinet ministers under presuure,( Manishankar aiyyar, Natwar Singh)..jeopardised energy security,.
6. oversaw spread of strvation deaths and farmer suicides into whole country from Andhra...all he did was to announce knee jerk reactions and empty announcements/ assurances, while sticking wtih his policies that cause these deaths.
subotaged democratic procedures in Bihar, Jharkhand, Goa, drew flak from S. C.
so overall..he might have a great C.V. but we find the candidate unsuitable for the post of Prime Minister of India. he dislay an attitude of incompetency and sycophancy coupled with scant regard for democratic principles,
outrageous insensitivities to common man over anything that does not fetch him votes..

Also regarding being most educated person what he is doing? please do not ignore the fact that it is congress president who makes the decisions, not our PM.
And being an educated, that too a person from economics, its a shame when he talks about reservations in private sector. What is his contribution in creatting companies like Infy, Wipro, TCS and Reliance and all.
Who is he to tell them to provide reservations in these companies, that are created and nurtured without any significant help from govt of india.
Why these companies should employ "UNDESERVING" unqualified candidates and loose in the global market?
I am sorry, if I sound as if I am starting a debate over reservations, but he being the PM of this country he should be held responsible for introducing more reservations ,and seeking reservations in private sector.
