Professional role play & Success

Professional role play & Success

Market has created new vocabularies for the working world and with the advancement of technology and more deeper use of it in jobs and professions making life hard to live in the working world though in this short span of existence one can earn very handsomely even to meet with the requirements of whole life, can be said the positive side of this recent trend of working world. The latest vocabulary from the working world is “between the jobs” either jobless or doing a job and searching a better one. It is said in the technologically advance countries that India is primitive country but at least this “between the jobs” is not only supporting but also illustrating Indian thought “Nothing in life is stable and every thing constructed only for demolition “

Other vocabularies which are not only going strong but also writing new success chapters in the working world are the “Professional attitude”, “Team Work” , “Role play” etc. More interesting thing is that reach of these vocabularies is on expansion and going to cover each and every aspect of life to make life part of market. Look at following two statements
“I have studied in professional manner and was aiming to top the state merit list at Secondary school certificate examination”
“It was lack of professional attitude in the Pakistani cricket team, due to which they couldn’t score just 36 runs in last ten over with five wickets in hand, in the last ODI against South Africa and last the match and series [2-3]. Win of South Africa is the sheer illustration of team work.”

It was time when success and ones capacities were in the direct proportion but with the time all has changed to “You are as good as your team is”. In the modern times it becomes meaningless how good or worst blogger I am? The important thing is that to what extant my writing is able to generate traffic towards my blog so that myself and google ad sense can help each other to earn. The working world slowly, gradually but surely taking the shape of professional world and now your success is not the illustration of your capacities but is demonstration of extant to which you are successful in the role play. With the technological advancement dependence on the others is increasing and success, instead of execution of one wisdom application and effort result, is now being termed as the result of efforts and ability to work in group to achieve the desirable goals and aims.

In the professional world one has to face and play three different roles. “Individual” is the most ancient and the first one while the “Team Member” and “Team Leader” are the other two. In the modern world “individual” is occupying least important place, even though being constructive block for team and team work, which are placed on the higher importance for the success. After all what is Team? Nothing but, group of people knowing a specific job and putting in mutual efforts towards the achievement of certain predefined objective. These mutual efforts are the team work.

In a team one is either team member of team leader. In the role of team member one has to carry out pre assigned task in the given time frame here ones success lies in abilities of involving others and getting their help for reaching to desired goal. As a team leader one has to be innovative and capable of drawing the best from the team members. Individualism is the base of working but not the term of success narration and one has to work always for putting more and more team efforts towards and for the success. Remember in the team work, it is not simple addition of one plus one equal to two but is the art of more complicated multiplication of making eleven [11] from one [1] plus one [1]. Here are few tips that might help to increase the team work and help to write the success story with golden ink.

Involvement of All: this is one of the most important aspect just look at Saurav scoring a brilliant ton but failure of bowlers results in defeat for Indian team. Here the key world is “optimization” one has not only to put 100% of abilities but go beyond that and put the optimized efforts. Remember as high the individualism is there as low chance will be of success. Every one has to work like a part of automated machine.

Respecting and utilizing others: the key of team work is the respect among the team member for each other. Every one supposed to have patience for listing thoughts and ideas of others and the ability to use the innovative capacities of others for reaching to desired team goals.

Work objectively: Forget about your personal liking or disliking, when you are in the team you have to be integral part of it for the success. Australian cricket team is on the winning roads since last more than decade just because on the ground all the players are forgetting the personal disputes and working for the mutual aim of team win.

Discussion: This can be the foundation stone of success just every one has to remember that concentration must be on the “we are failures and how to improve it” instead of who is not putting the maximum efforts in as that will lead to create personal disliking and will prove harmful for the achievement of mutual goals. Always try to keep the debate away from entering into personal levels.

Decision making: When working in team one has to remember to be strong for ones point of view but shouldn’t persist for the implementation of it and be ready to go with the team decision. After all in this set up no one is working at individual levels even after putting in the level best individual efforts. It is quite possible that team decision may not runs on the parallel lines with your own thought process but even than you need to concentrate on putting your optimized efforts for achieving it. This is the only success key for the team work.

Controversial Decisions

Controversial Decisions

It now become a set trend in Indian media, put a questionnaire for the common people, every time after the selection of cricket team and very strangely our selection committee also leaves space for if and buts, this and that with their surprise selection standards. Chair of the chairman of selection committee has seen the changing faces but as we Indian live with traditions hence no person ever tried to go beyond the unreasoned inclusion/ omission of one two players in the selected squad and try to break the tradition of bringing surprise during the announcement of selected team.
At Ahmedabad the things were not different from the tradition. It was talk between me and my son on the day of announcement of leaving the Captaincy by Rahul Dravid that soon we will see Rahul out of ODI squad. The ball started moving at Munbai against Australia and reached to goal in Ahmedabad. Who will believe it, for the reason of being out of form Dravid is dropped from the First Two ODI and was replaced by Yet another out of form player Shewag?
Controversial decisions also seems to become tradition for BCCI, on the one hand, world’s topmost opening pair of Sachin Saurav is kept away from the Twenty -20 for the reason of age and on the other hand contracts are given to retired Australian players like Warn, Gillespie and Makgraw for the Twenty -20 IPCL. If the Twenty-20 is the format for the youngest and age is working against Sachin and Saurav for their inclusion in T20 Indian team than only one result is possible, BCCI is not as serious as indication are, for the IPCL and if the board authorities are of the views that these Australian retire players are fit to play twenty-20 than why Sachin and Saurav were not selected for the Indian team?
Controversial decisions seems to be running in the blood of Indians, yesterday after so many days I was watching a match in which India was not playing [Only last few over] Pakistan was in need of just 36 runs to win the match against South Africa, with five wickets in hand and Ten over to go but as the Pakistan was also part of India at some time and forefathers of present Pakistani players were originally Indians so the tradition was kept intact and players opted for choosing controversial strokes not for wining but for being out and Pakistan not only last the match but also the ODI series.

Chocolate

Chocolate

When it comes for gifting to valentine by Indian youth the first choice goes with chocolates. Unlike the Europeans and Western country lovers flowers and roses are not at the top of priority list off course they are there but only after the chocolates. Does for Indians stomach and taste glands are placed at comparatively higher importance? Some people will surely argue in favor just because still almost one third of Indian population is below the poverty line and finds it hard to arrange meals for the both times of a day. I am arguing against it as studies are showing that only about 15% of population is favoring Valentine activities, which is less than half of that one third population below the poverty line and the interesting aspect of the studies is that this one third population is not finding “love” or in more proper vocabulary “sexual attraction” at prime and important place when it comes to priorities of life.
What are the chocolates and why we are eager to eat them? If we look at the constituents of the chocolate it is composed of high amounts of fat, sugar and additives with low amounts of cocoa solids. Surely this is a tempting food composition and if we add to it the latest findings of medical and chemical science which says chocolate are natural compounds called flavonoids that have been shown to prevent the oxidation of LDL (bad) cholesterol and raise HDL (beneficial) cholesterol levels in the bloodstream. Flavonoids may also prevent certain cancers, besides that Chocolate contains substances called Phenylethylamine and Seratonin, both of which (put simply), are mood lifting agents found naturally in the human brain. They are released into the nervous system by the brain when we are happy and when we are experiencing feelings of love, passion or lust. This causes rapid mood change, a rise in blood pressure and increasing heart rate, inducing those feelings of well being, bordering on euphoria usually associated with being in love. All this is sufficient reason which takes the chocolates at the top of priority list of lovers.
If, I say you are programmed for chocolate eating. Many eye brows will raised high, an anger fluctuation of lips will be visible with high pitched voices of protest will start dominating the atmosphere. Human minds are working like the machines at least recent attempts in the direction of artificial intelligence of machines is an evidence for the same. Like the machines, behavior of human minds can be trained for in a definite direction for predictable, desirable and pre known result, though this trained action of mind can be termed as the human behavior but we have to keep this in mind biologically human beings are also animals so it is quite possible to train human mind for a desirable reaction.
India and other third world countries are the experimental grounds for the multinational companies [MNC] like the rats and other animals are for the scientist to conduct the research and find facts about the human life. Huge population, careless, casual attitude of governments and liberal policies of these countries are providing ample space for these MNC’s to conduct and experiment with side effects of their products on the health of human beings. Low education levels and unawareness towards the health by the citizens of these countries are the other factors which are tempting MNC’s to go ahead with their experimentations.
Being a good healthy food, helpful in avoiding heart attack and making the mood lighter and enjoyable are some of the reasons for making the chocolate favorable for eating but you ever though of the unhygienic conditions in which chocolates are stored? Surely if you consider it you will conclude with, chocolate storage conditions are producing much more bad health effects and give birth to many unknown health hazards.
Indian festival season is round the corner; high profile advertisements like Amitabh’s “Kuchh Metta Ho Jaye” are gearing up for tempting and prompting millions of Indians for buying and eating chocolate. Surely you will buy chocolate if not for self eating may be for gifting to some one, just think, the hide and seek game of electricity in our country is forcing chocolate to melt and get refreeze for several times before you eat it up. Companies are concentrating and are satisfied with the quality controls only up to production level but who will look after the distribution and storage level precautions? It will be a pleasant vision to see the chocolate distributing vehicle with cold storage facilities but unfortunately it is not the scene on the Indian roads. Similarly look at the containers provided to retailers or small shop keepers by the companies for the storing chocolate they are also without cold storage facility. In the climatic conditions of country like India, all the above are favoring the growth of fungi. Another alarming danger is presence of high amount of preservatives to keep the chocolate fresh for a longer duration. In the past chocolates were the food stuff of rich only as being high priced items but in the present times mini packs are available for just Rs. 2-3 are making larger portion of population being effected from the health hazards of eating chocolates.

Celebrations

Celebrations

India is said to be a country of festivals and enthusiasm and zeal of Indians for the celebrations is unique and unmatched in the world. It is often stated that Indians are always in the celebration mood, even the smallest reason prove sufficient stimulant for a grand celebration like a lightest spark for petrol to burn.
The million dollar question is about the reason for the celebration mood of Indians. Look at the word “celebration” it seems pronouncing and sounding with two different words “Cerebral” and “in”. History pages of India reveal a deeply rooted spiritual platform of living by the Indians since centuries and centuries. The spirituality is said to be related with the metal aspect of human beings or in the biological terms with the cerebral part of human body hence so if the spirituality is the life base of Indians than it is natural to be in celebration mood, because celebration is what, that lies in the cerebral part of human body.
Life is speeding up but contrasts to it celebrations have started to shrink and become a thing of time being, even the marriage which is said to be most important celebration of life of Indians had started to shrink under the pressures of tight time schedules. The festival celebrations are slowly but gradually are turning into formalities, birthday and anniversary, happiness and enjoyments are going to fade up in the fumes of alcoholic simulations and high sounded musical sound pollution. Excursions and stay in the nature’s lap are proving insufficient to bring the natural charm of celebrations in the life.
All this is happening just because we are forgetting the presence of celebrations within our self and thinking about the enjoying only few moments of life. In fact celebrations are extended through out the life, every available moment is time to celebrate, and every action is bound to bring enjoyment we just need to recognize the occasion and keep our mood accordingly. There is nothing that can be termed as the moment of sorrow or unpleasant situation, why we are forgetting than every dark cloud is always with a silver line in it. I would like to conclude this with a dialogue from the famous movie “Mukadar Ka Sikandar” of Amitabh Bachan; “Sukh Mein haste ho to dukh mein kahkahe lagayoe” [If you are smiling in comforts start laughing when feeling uncomfortable] this is the true celebration of life and life goes like this.

Family

Family

The period of nine months hold a very peculiar importance in human life. It is the time period required for the birth of new human life. It is very strange thing of my life that at the age of 50, I am going under this magical experience and feeling of these nine months. No dear, neither I am a woman nor is my wife going through the stage of pregnancy. I am talking about the maturity growth of writer present within me due to nine month long close association between me and ibibo blogs.[Since January 5th to September 21st ]. It was a child game/ Child play to start with at ibibo as neither the participant nor the administration were serious about the quality aspect every thing was just quantity and being a teacher I was with variety of information hence I was able to earn very handsomely. It was some where in the start of May that I realized that my activities there at ibibo must be more purposeful but the quantity dominance was still hiding and making it hard to locate quality blog posts in the forest of quantity even for myself. For a retired person, with a limited economic earning, attraction of earning proved winner over the satisfaction of purposeful writing. Towards the end of August, ibibo administration went under the feeling, which was realized by me in the month of May and decided to put a break on quantity. It is quite possible that administration was forced to do so because of the difficulties they might be facing from the unexpected growth of portal, the number of participant was on tremendous growth and quantity race [a few people were posting 100 to 200 posts daily] with no attention on quality was making it hard for administration to cope with the pressure. Any way in the ninth month of existence glimpse of birth of new life become visible at ibibo blogs and most significantly an instant positive response was shown by more than 50% of the bloggers active, It was indication that I was not alone but with few thousands others thinking on same lines. It can be said unfortunate only, that when the bloggers become aware of importance of quality, there were a very bright and high chances for ibibo to become largest quality based Indian blogging platform, all of sudden administration came forward to withdraw the monetary motivation, as know no one can earn even a single naya paisa [penny] by blogging at ibibo. This action of administration can only compare with increasing trend in India of killing the girl child before the birth as this trend is bound to produce social imbalance so is this going action will be held responsible for the pre mature death of budding Indian bloggers.

You might be wondering what all this has to do with the title of the blog? It was a hectic daily schedule with ibibo which stopped all of sudden and I am getting more time for television broadcasts. Yesterday while one of so called reality show; I come across words “It will be hard to believe for all us that this couple is no more part of our family”. In fact it has tempted to write me on this topic Family.
Human being is a complete and individual identity but needs a social life for growing in totality hence need of marriage was felt and practiced in the early years of human history. The tradition of making permanent relations started with marriage was extended in to bunching of human beings related with each other resulted into construction of family. In the initial stages relatives from both sides of a human were the part of family and even Indian philosophy of life was extended to the principle of “Humanity is family” but due to this or that reasons the circle of family started to shrink and families started to be limited to parents, children and grand children only. At present in India family is in this format where as in the most of European and western countries it is showing growing trends of being limited to husband, wife and kids of teen age.
The question is why one need to be a part of a family? If we look into basic of formation of family, It will not be hard to find fact that family is the expression of desire for social living after all even being a complete identity human beings are social animals. The basic concept which works as foundation stone in the construction of family is adjustment. I wish to say that adjustments are the key factor for the co-existence of human beings and one has to scarify some of personal interest, choices and priorities for being part of social life or family. One has to learn the art of respecting emotions of others and accommodating them with the own desires, this is the adjustment and constructs the base for the formation of family.
I am concluding this with a thought, Keep apart the reasons of shrinking of families, and remember one thing one has to make adjustments for the social life. Do keep it in your mind if you have to make adjustments for social life and creating new but unnatural families than why you are hesitating to apply the same adjustments with those who are natural part of your family?

Life and thoughts

Life and thoughts
Life is on the move and thoughts are under influence of change keeping continuity with the time. Looking at the various social and attitude changes of the Indian and world human societies it is not hard to find customs, traditions and rituals are the creations of changing thoughts.
How the thoughts are generated and taking the shape of actions might be a mystery for a common persons but according to expertise of human cerebral field thoughts are the end product of a long and continuously on going process which starts with the birth of human and goes on remaining in action till the moment of death, hence the end product thoughts keeps on changing.
In the views of Psycho experts, human starts gaining experience and learning from day one of life. The tendency of, storing the conclusions of these experience gaining and learning activities is often termed as memory. Next time when the human life goes under the influence of any of experience or learning activity memory gets activated and starts assimilation of similar conclusions. With the span of time human memory become collection of bunches of similar conclusions. When one or more such assimilated memory bunches prompts human body for an action it is often taken as the use of thoughts thus we can say thoughts are stored knowledge which stimulate human for action. A very famous cricket saying “Game is played and won in the thoughts and not into the play ground” can be taken as the importance of thoughts in the human life.
Look at Indian society, it was time when even screen shots in the swim suit were considered as nudity but changing thoughts have made it common to observe girls and ladies in two pieces especially at sea shore tourist spots and water sports amusement parks. The significant change of attitude is that neither the grown up daughters nor the fathers are finding this uncomfortable.
The most important thing about the thoughts, with which I am going to conclude my, this out burst of words about thoughts, is that in human life no thought is constant. It is always bound to moves on the wheels of change, whatever we are supporting today, thinking right, we might start protesting considering it wrong or vice versa. After all thoughts are end product of our experiences and learning and both of these are on the way of new additions with every spent day/moment of life.

Everything unofficial

Everything unofficial

What we are doing now days at ibibo blogs is nothing but is purely unofficial. I know in the blogging world of ibibo, many eyes will blink with anger, a few lips will flicker for out burst with abuse words for me, go on friends I know you love me and what you wish to pronounce at this moment is purely unofficial.

In fact the inspiration of unofficial is taken from the famous Marathi stage play "rangya rangela re" in which hero or the central character speaks abuse words and ask people not take seriously because he belongs to Kolhapur and kolhapurkar never keep anything hidden they are open minded people can speak even using abuse word for any one and in front of any one just because they are people with pure heart.

Did you recall sholey's famous scene of conversation of Jai and Mousi about the marriage of veeru and Basanti, I think it can be rated as most unofficial episode on the Indian silver screen.

Indian politics is going through the golden period of being unofficial. Many people might not be aware of the reason for the exit of Shri Narayan Rane [Ex chief minister of Maharashtra] from the Shiv Sena, He says that it was some people who built a wall between him and Shiv Sena superimo, Hindu heart King Shri Balasaheb Thakre, are responsible for his leaving Shiv Sena and joining congress where as party official says Rane was expelled from the party on disciplinary ground. No dear, as usual practice of politics, original reason was kept behind the curtain but now it is no more a secret, actually Rane was become fade up of seeing that his official works were not producing the results matching with the unofficial statements of Shiv Sena superimo and Balasaheb was undergoing the feeling of that official action of Shri Rane were not coping with his unofficial statements. India's progressing speed is amazing and always produced results that can be described only as "Neighbor's envy owner's pride". The state level thing of past is the main political activity of present central government. One day government is submitting an official affidavit with reference to "Setu Samundaram Project" in the court and on the next day unofficial statement of UPA chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi is forcing government to withdraw the official version.

Officially BCCI official says Saurav Ganguli was dropped for the Hyderabad ODI against Kangaroos and Captain Dhoni says unofficially though Saurav was fit to play but considering the long season ahead we did not prefer to risk with him. Selectors are announcing officially about the building the team for the future and unofficially reselecting Murali Kartik who had not played any international match for more than a year.

Officially ibibo announces increase of chances of earning for the members and unofficially sets almost next to impossible achieve targets for earning [without manipulation] and decide to give almost zero importance to blogging the safe, honest and easy way of earning.

The list of unofficial can go on extension like the tail of Hanuman or the one cloth of Dropadi .If you wish and finding some irritation to your cerebral cortex, you are officially allowed to add to this list of unofficial in the form of your comments to this blog. I am still unable to understand how to take comment of user name "@" [on my blog posting titled" ibibo Sawals: Top Category & Scores"] "you sure are becoming the AGONY AUNT of IBIBO! Thank you Sir "I am running between the lines of official and unofficial status of this comment.

I am concluding this episode of everything unofficial with two official things. The first one is ibibo is no more blogging site, Google ad sense of ibibo are changed from " blog and earn" or "You and other 999 Indian bloggers can earn this month" to " Make friends on most trusted network of India" . [It is quite possible that words did not match to totality but the meaning will remain the same] second thing till now whatever you had read officially is part of everything unofficial.

Cricket and India

Cricket and India

Look at the recent statement of Shri Sharad Powar, President BCCI; we were agreed to play Twenty-20 only because we don't wish to be left alone on world platform. It was beyond imagination that India, with so many youngsters and even with inexperienced captain Dhoni will go on winning the ever first world cup. Enthusiasm of Dhoni and his boys proved a high mountain to cross even for the strongest teams like the South Africa and Australia and proving wrong to every expertise view India won the twenty-20 world cup. As was expected a grand celebration started in the cricket passionate country and this was sure to go on most grand scales especially after the early exit of India from ODI world cup at West Indies early this year. It is natural to celebrate wins but the felicitation of twenty-20 world cup winner team has brought two important issues at the central stage of discussion.

The first issue that seating arrangement at Wankhede stadium, during the public felicitation of team brought under discussion that, who are more important the players of winning team or the politicians and officials of sport administrative body? The ideal seating for such a felicitation was that president of association and Deputy Chief Minister of state [Who was chief guest of function] were seating in front row along with members of winning team but we had totally opposite picture if we leave the captain, other players from the winning team were almost non visible to millions of people who were gathered in the stadium for the felicitation of team. It has also put the fact under questioning why should not the politicians banned for acquiring an official post in any sporting association. If you look it at reaction of Shri Sharad Powar, who is also agricultural minister in the central government, about the sudden price rise of onion, "I don't know the matter as I was out of my office". I am a great admire of Powar sahib, his political vision, his dedication towards the nation and above all his eagerness to work for the deprived classes of the society but this has also forced me to ask Powar Sahib, is he politicians first or a sport administrator? It is politics or the sport administration is on the priority list of Powar Sahib? Surely it is fame of politics that fetched Powar Sahib, post of president of BCCI and it is heart breaking in true sense that a leaders and minister like him is not aware of difficult situations which a common man is facing? Surely this is happening because politicians are busy with other activities. My question is that to avoid this why should it not be made mandatory that politicians are not supposed to acquire any official position in any of sport administrative body? India is much more vast country in experience and ability than any other country, if the other countries are finding specialists to run the sports associations, surely it will be not a tough job in India.

The felicitation of twenty-20 world cup, underlined the neglected attitude towards the achievements of Indians in other sport disciplines. For instant recently India won in Hockey very conveniently but neither the hockey association nor any government, State or Central had announced any additional financial benefit for the players of winning team, even the corporate world was in the silent mood. Pankaj Advani, Vishawnathan Anand and many more, who, by their individual efforts always succeeded to bring glory for the nation, are also complaining about the partial and bias treatment in announcing the rewards. Why it is always the cricket player are the front runners for the financial benefits even after being paid most handsomely? The probable reason is that cricket is not just another game in India; it is a passion, a life style. The players are more than human beings and we Indians are, extremist in the expression of our emotions, It must be remembered that the people of Jharkhand, Ranchi, Who today feel it proud in saying Dhoni belongs to them [State government had announced highest public award "Jharkhand Ratana" for Dhoni] are the same who had taken the funeral procession of Dhoni and demolished his under construction house in Ranchi, when Indian team exited early from the ODI world cup early this year. I don't wish to say that other players and their family members should under go such painful and insulting experience before asking the equality for the financial benefits. I just wish to underline the fact that we are living in the world of finance and the related person will get financial benefits according to earnings. If the cricket is the highest earning game, player are bound to get more financial benefits but surely government, state or central must behave with equality.

If we look at the cricket it was just another game till the 1983, it was the World cup win by the team lead by Kapil Dev, which boosted favorable atmosphere for cricket and started to make it odd in the sporting world of India. Professional attitude of players and officials of cricket associations of the country had insured the flow of money into game. If the people like Jagmohan Dalmiya and others are succeeded in doing this for the cricket, why the other sport associations are not able to do the same? We can't punish others for our failure. It was time, when India was undisputed king of hockey field but where are we today? Surely not among the top six teams of the world. Let the hockey players, associations and all other sports associations and players develop the professional attitude for brining glory for the nation more frequently surely this will work in bringing the needed mental attitude change of public and corporate houses and this inequality will not be visible more. The state and central government can help these associations by providing facility of live telecast of sports on Doordarshan at low rates to make these sporting events more popular. This will also help to see India figuring in the top list of Medal tally at Olympics.

Ram Setu Dispute

Ram Setu Dispute

Emotional clashes are on and it seems that once again country will face the problem of confusion over the do or don't. Yes, I am talking about the "Ram Setu" dispute; all this came in the existence with the oath pa
per of IAS [Indian Archeological survey] on behalf of central Government in the court and had produced much turmoil for the communal harmony of the country. Before going further into the matter it will good to know "What Ram Setu is?

In the south east India at Rameshwaram, there is about 50 km long lime stone bridge shaped structure which is connecting this piece of land with the Gulf of Mannar SriLanka. This is Ram Setu, as according to Puranas this the bridge constructed by Lord Ram to cross the sea and go to Lanka for releasing, kidnapped Sita ji. NASA is recognizing this bridge as the Adam's Bridge. It is faiths that till the 15th century people were using this bridge but as now, due to some geographical changes sea depth at this place is increased hence the bridge is underwater now and not in use.

Set Samudaram canal project

As at present Tamilnadu bounds ships from Kerala has to go by making a round through the Srilanka, which is adding 30 hours of time and about 650 km of distance to journey, hence in the 2005 central government announced "Setu Samudaram Canal Project" to save this time and distance. According to plans this will make Rameshwaram the biggest shipping harbor of the country, Tuticoran harbor will convert into a Nodal Port and coastal area of Tamilnadu will have as many as thirteen new airports. Surely this is a great greed for the developing country like India, as it will add a lot to economy and infra structure availability of the country.

According to Dr Badrinarayanan former director of the Geological Survey of India "It is not a natural formation; the top portion of it appears to be a man-made structure. To understand what I am saying from the geological point of view, you have to get to know several things. What is known as Adam's Bridge is originally a natural grade divide separating the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean to the south. So, the geological aspects are different on either side. About 18,000 years ago, we had Ice age when the sea level was lower by 130 metres than what it is now. Due to de-glaciations, the sea level rose. Around 7,300 years back, there was major flooding and the sea level rose to 4 metres more than what it is today. This has been verified by several researchers throughout the world. But the bridge that connects India and Sri Lanka is different; it is not just a sand dune."

Now look at the statement of oceanographer Prof Tad S Murty of the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Ottawa in Canada, who is a world renowned expert on tsunamis, with reference to December 2004 tsunami and present canal project "In the December 2004 tsunami, the very southern part of Kerala was not significantly impacted by the tsunami mainly for the following reason. Some of the tsunami energy propagated south of Sri Lanka and a part of it diffracted north and affected the middle part of Kerala. Tsunami, being a long gravity wave, somewhat similar to tides and storm surges, can only take a wide turn, and in this process, missed the very southern part of Kerala. An analogy is like a car making a turn; a long car can only take a wide turn, while a short car can make a narrow turn. The middle and northern parts of Kerala were also impacted to a certain degree by tsunami waves reflected from the Lakshadweep-Maldives Ridge as well as from the east coast of Africa. Whatever may be the reason; significant tsunami energy did not propagate through the waters separating India and Sri Lanka during the December 2004 event and did not impact much the southern part of Kerala. Deepening and widening the Sethu canal will provide a more direct route for some of the tsunami energy to travel and impact southern Kerala."

All was going as per the plans and most of the Indians were not aware of the fact this project will demolish some parts of Ram Setu but when IAS submitted affidavit in the court that there are no historical evidence for the existence of Ram or Ramayan [though Government after wards withdraw it], all of sudden a layer of anger and aguish got the surface and once again the faith of billions and technological advancement got a clash. At present the two parties of dispute are billions of Indians primarily lead by "Sangh Parivar" opposing the project as it will destroy a pre-historic land link between the two nations that was erected by Lord Ram and his Vanara Sena and Government of India, for this issue being lead by Shipping Minister T R Baalu, say the project will cut down shipping time drastically, leading to major savings in fuel etc.

I do not agree with the view of opposition that government should resign on this issue but I wish to raise yet another issue. Keep apart the economic boost and addition to infrastructure facilities of the country. Can't government drop the idea and go for alternative ways for respecting billions of citizens? I have heard it some many times while the proceedings of Lok Sabha speakers says that though this is not a rule but following the traditions of the house I am giving this ruling? Keep apart the historical evidence about Ram and Ramayana; any body, in the world can dare to deny that Lord Ram is a traditional faith of billions of Indians since so many centuries? My question is that when government is following a tradition of few years of democracy practice, why the same government is trying to neglect traditional faith of centuries of the billions of citizens? Will it not be joke, for achieving progress traditional faith of billions and billions is forced to go to graveyards? The matter is in the court, it will be interesting to know the judiciary ruling and the stand of government of India in this matter.

2nd October 2007

2nd October 2007

Yet another circle of seasons is on move for completing its totality and tomorrow we Indians once again are going to celebrate birthday of two great personalities, "Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi" father of Nation and "Lal Bahadur Shastri" surely one of the most successful Prime Minister, born on Indian land and served the mother land to best of their capacities for being recognized as true sons of the land. It will be most appropriate if we can start practice of principle "Non Violence and Tolerance "given by Mahatama Gandhi Ji and working for making our country self sufficient as dreamed by Shastri Ji, who believed in "Jai Jawan Kai Kisan" and was with faith that without the welfare of formers and soldiers no country can speed up on the path of progress and self sufficiency. This will be the only tribute that we can offer to these two great souls.

Love

Love

If, I have been asked to give the most mysterious but meaningful single word from the dictionary I will surely opt the word composed of four alphabets not because of there are four directions of the world and this word is composed of four alphabets representing the totality of the world but because of the fact that, this word is the speechless emotion of human life and never is slave of words for its expression. The word I am talking about is love. We often come across and use phrase "Love is Life or Life is Love" but a few days back I read some where a strange question "What is Love?"

Really it is hard to give the word format for the love, though love is an emotion and often means the intense liking, but like the other emotions of human life we can't choose the definite words to define love in its totality and true meaning. We love our parents, kids, friends and even our pets does we wish to say we are with the same emotion for each and everything, with reference to which we pronounce the word Love? Surely our response to this question will not be a positive one just because we know though we are using the single and same word love but our emotional feelings are at the different levels of liking. In the broad sense we can say love is, liking but as this can't be the universally accepted one hence I tried to find out sounds for each alphabet of love in the word ocean dictionary and my search ends with
L = Learning
O = Others
V= Valuing
E = Emotions

The aggregative meaning will be like this Love is the art of learning the method of valuing emotions of others. This might have satisfied at least to me but as the word love is also associated with one of the most important aspect of life called marriage hence my thrust was at the end of non fulfillment.

The word love is so intensely and closely associated with marriage that not only many find it essential, the existence of love for the marriage, but also we have two most popular types of marriages, arrange marriage and love marriage. It is hard to believe that applications for the divorce are in higher numbers from the couples who had opted for the love marriage. If the love was the deciding factor for making them to live together and go for the marriage then what happen to their love? Change is the characteristic of time not of the love hence what was bound to change was time and not the love. which changes with time is surely not love. If we look into human life it is not hard to find that love only has growing attributes, reduction or elopement are the meaning less terms for the love. Look at parents love towards the kids it goes on increasing with age of children. With my own experience, I can support the statement "Period after the twenty years of married life is truly expressive and under going the feeling of love". It doesn't means that in the time prior to this period love was not existing there, surely it was there though was coated under the layers of the physical wants. One thing I wish to say to younger generation try to differentiate your desire of spending time together from the love as your desire is bound to change with time where as love will go till your last breath on earth. This desire change will help you gain temporary but will force you to loose the constant one. The desire of living together will prompt for separation after some time but love will force you to live together even in the situations of unmatched interests and disliked habits.

I would like to conclude with love is the nectar of human life, which exist within our self and we can make its storage rich by learning the art of respecting and valuing emotions of others. Love is the bonding glue which forces us to keep our family life intact and live a good social life. Love is the prime attraction of human life. The most interesting thing is that human life is born from the love and goes on growing with love.
