What is Humour
if we go by the dictionary meaning of the word it goes like " Quality of being amusing" some other meaning which are known to me are
That quality which appeals to a sense of the ludicrous or absurdly incongruous.
The mental faculty of discovering, expressing, or appreciating the ludicrous or absurdly incongruous.

Where as according to Victor Borge [ a humorist, entertainer and world-class pianist affectionately known as the Clown Prince of Denmark] Humour is

Humour is something that thrives between man's aspirations and his limitations. There is more logic in humour than in anything else. Because, you see, humour is truth.

Aspects and Classification of Humour

Some of the aspects that constitute humour are [1] Sense of Humour : this is quality of individuals and vary from person to person [2] Appreciation of Humaour : is our ability of sensing the presence of humour in our surroundings and environment. [3] Generation of Humour : Refer to our reactions for the production of humour. There have been many attempts to classify term Humour but I can say it is texonomy free term.

Physiological effects of Humour on Human body :
[1] With a laugh our body is intended to releases endorphins, the body's natural painkiller. [2] Laugh also elevate levels of activated T cells (T lymphocytes), and increases antibody, IgA (immunoglobulin A), which fights upper respiratory tract insults and infections. [3] Laughter is also responsible for an increase in gamma interferon[ Disease-fighting proteins], a blood chemical that transmits messages in the nervous system and stimulates the immune system. [4] This is for the common people, laughter is simply a good cardio workout, increasing heart activity, and thus stimulating circulation. After the laughter subsides, the cardiovascular system goes into a state of relaxation.

All this sufficient to show the humour is beneficial for our physical well being.

It is the real beauty of the blogging that some times you are forced to write on the topic, which is not in your schedule or about which you had never thought, presently under the influence of the same status I am writing this article. It all was started with " I wish to have divorce" and went on to " Divorce: Some Facts". Before coming to topic it will be helpful to know what is marriage and what is the importance of marriage in human life, after all what is the divorce, nothing but an extremist situation where we are forced to discontinue one of the most attractive relationship [marriage] of human life.
Reproduction is the key that keeps the species intact on the earth and among the livings only human beings are with the capacity of giving birth to young ones through out the years, where as for other livings, not only animals but also plants there is a specific breeding season, beside that human are social animals, hence to regularized and socialized the sexuality, among the human tradition of marriage was started since the early dawn of civilisation. Due to technical advancement and lowering of the morals many abuse words like the corruption are included in the human life dictionary , word divorce is also getting momentum for inclusion in this dictionary.
REASONS OF DIVORCE As per the laws of various countries,the following reasons for divorce might be considered sufficient grounds for the dissolution of a marriage: adultery, cruelty, abandonment, incurable insanity, felony conviction or incarceration,addiction to drugs or alcohol, and a consistent period of separation between a husband and wife. Where as if we go as per the views of the family legal experts, they enlist the following reasons for the divorce:poor communication, financial problems, lack of commitment, infidelity, and dramatic changes in individual priorities. Physical, emotional, mental, and substance abuses are also cited as reasons for divorce.
To me for divorce there is just one and one reason and that is lack of understanding and adjustment. Marriage is the union of two individuals, who were born and brought up in different social and family atmosphere, with a own vision to the relations in the human life, each of them have their own ambitions and here we need the tools of understanding and adjustment. We have to be alert in understanding the socio-family atmosphere of each others, so that we can create ample scope for the fulfillment of our ambitions, this adjustment is the only key for the success of marriage life, as this adjustment will allow us to know the importance of us for the each other. By applying these tools of understanding and adjustment we can keep divorce away from our life, in graveyard of the dictionary.

Today is the mothers day, in my view this is the lowest end of our moral character that today we are celebrating a day to give thanks to a personality whose has done so much for us, that if we worship for whole life, serve her for many births , even scarifying self for smallest smile will not sufficient to meat with the billion part of her affection, trouble, and care that she has taken to make us able to see and live in this world. Just imagine there is a piece of thinnest and smallest piece of thron in your flesh, for what period of time you can keep that unmovable thron in your flesh? Will we ever be in position of compensating her, for keeping and nourishing us for 280 days [40 weeks] inside her body? One day Goddess Laxmi asked Lord Vishnu, Why he is taking Avtar from time to time, Lord Vishnu replied it is not the evil action of some devils because he has power's to destroy those devils from the place where is seating but still he prefer to go on earth only because earth is the place where he can feel the affection and care of mother. In Hindus Shani's Sade sati is said to be most trouble some period of life, but many of us are not aware that it is a boon that if you bow to feet of your mother for only 80 days shani will not be in the position of harming you. Ever since I have started blogging, I came across with various reactions from my readers, some were appreciating my knowledge, my writing style or use of abstract words, while some others had also shown their dislikes for the same. I don't know his original name but according to him he is, like me, is a kolhapurkar, any way his words inspired me to write something worth on the topic . I have tried to find some facts about divorce at net and what I found is

About 59% of America's population of 300 million is married. Although over 90% of American adults look forward to married life, divorce rates are still very high. During the 1950s, more than 90% of married couples would stay together for ten years or more, but in the 1990s, this percentage has fallen to below 50%. In recent years, many older adults have been getting divorced after they turn 60, or even 80 years old.

According to Korean government statistics, the divorce rate in Korea is growing at an average rate of 0.5% per year. In the past ten years, the total number of divorces has increased by nearly three times. That is to say, out of every 1,000 couples, 2.8 of them will
divorce, making Korea's divorce rate the third highest in the world after America and the UK.

The divorce rate in Brazil has doubled since 1985. Many experts believe that this is due to the 1988 abolition of a law that men could only have two divorces in their lifetime. Now, they can marry and divorce as many times as they like.

According to statistics from the China Civil Administration Department, 341,000 married couples divorced in 1980, 800,000 in 1990, 1,210,000 in 2000, and 1,331,000 in 2005. From these numbers it is evident that divorce is a growing trend in China.

In India, there are no formal statistics concerning divorce rates due the large rural population and incomplete records, but it is widely acknowledged that the divorce rate has greatly increased.

My self And Divorce :
My self a strong believer in God, have a trust in the saying " Marriages are arranged in heaven" can't even think about the breaking the knots which are tide by the God Self . In Gurbani one line goes like this " Banh Jinadi Thamiyae, Sir Dije par Banh Na Chhadiyae" [ Once you take hand in hand than you must keep it even at the cast of your head] .

This is proving to be longer article than I was expecting, hence I am stooping here only but surely down the lane I will present again this topic with the reasons and effects of divorce; the extremist action of human life on my this very blog.

I Wish to have Divorce

My husband is an Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature, and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders. Three years of courtship and now, two years into marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him before has now transformed into the cause of all my restlessness. I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive when it comes to a relationship and my feelings, I yearn for the romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. My husband, is my complete opposite, his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about love. One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.
"Why?" he asked, shocked.
"I am tired, there are no reasons for everything in the world!" I answered. He kept silent the whole night, seems to be in deep thought with a lighted cigarette at all times. My feeling of disappointment only increased, here was a man who can't even express his predicament, what else can I hope from him?
And finally he asked me:" What can I do to change your mind?" Somebody said it right, it's hard to change a person's personality, and I guess, I have started losing faith in him.
Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered: "Here is the question, if you can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind, Let's say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death, will you do it for me?"
He said:" I will give you your answer tomorrow...." My hopes just sank by listening to his response.
I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper with his scratchy handwriting, underneath a milk glass, on the dining table near the front door, that goes....
My dear, "I would not pick that flower for you, but please allow me to explain the reasons further..
" This first line was already breaking my heart. I continued reading.....
*1.* When you use the computer you always mess up the Software programs, and you cry in front of the screen, I have to save my fingers so that I can help to restore the programs. *2.* You always leave the house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to rush home to open the door for you. *3.* You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city, I have to save my eyes to show you the way. *4.* You always have the cramps whenever your "good friend" approaches every month, I have to save my palms so that I can calm the cramps in your Tummy. *5.* You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes and stories to cure your boredom. *6. * You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes, I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails, and help to remove those annoying white hairs. *7.* So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sand... and tell you the color of flowers, just like the color of the glow on your young face...
Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you more than I do... I could not pick that flower yet, and die..
My tears fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting...and as I continue on reading...
"Now, that you have finished reading my answer, if you are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread and fresh milk... I rush to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread....
Now I am very sure that no one will ever love me as much as he does, and I have decided to leave the flower alone... That's life, and love. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace and dullness.
* Love shows up in all forms, even very small and cheeky forms, it has never been a model, it could be the most dull and boring form.. .flowers, and romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the relationship.

Significance of the Day

April 22 is the birthday of American television star Eddie Albert, an early environmental activist.

April 22 is also the birthday of Julius Sterling Morton, the founder of Arbor Day, a national tree-planting holiday started in 1872. Arbor Day became a legal holiday in Nebraska in 1885, to be permanently observed on April 22. According to the National Arbor Day Foundation "the most common day for the state observances is the last Friday in April . . . but a number of state Arbor Days are at other times to coincide with the best tree planting weather." Global Cooling

Global cooling in general can refer to a cooling of the Earth; more specifically, it is a theory positing an overall cooling of the Earth's surface and atmosphere along with a posited commencement of glaciation. This theory never had significant scientific support, but gained temporary popular attention due to press reporting following a better understanding of ice age cycles and a temporary downward trend of temperatures from the 1940s to the early 1970s. In the 1970s, there was increasing awareness that estimates of global temperatures showed cooling since 1945. The general public had little awareness about carbon dioxide's effects: at the time garbage, chemical disposal, smog, particulate pollution, and acid rain were the focus of public concern, although Paul R. Ehrlich mentions climate change from the greenhouse gases in 1968.Currently, there are some concerns about the possible cooling effects of a slowdown or shutdown of the thermohaline circulation, which might be provoked by an increase of fresh water mixing into the North Atlantic due to glacial melting. The probability of this occurring is generally considered to be low, and the IPCC notes, "However, even in models where the THC weakens, there is still a warming over Europe. For example, in all AOGCM integrations where the radiative forcing is increasing, the sign of the temperature change over north-west Europe is positive. Here we must remember that it was lowering of temperature that has turned fertile Green land into desert of Arctic. In 2006 Russian solar physicist Khabibullo Abdusamatov predicted that Global Cooling, similar to the Little Ice Age, will begin around 2012-2015 and reach its peak between 2055-2060.As the NAS report and the article in Newsweek both indicate, scientific knowledge regarding climate change was more uncertain than it is today. Do you often find yourself at a cross-road between two groups in office? When you enter into a conversation with your colleagues, most of the time it is either back-biting or finding faults with others. And by the end of it you just feel lost and unhappy. If you are a team leader, share credit in times of success and take responsibility in times where there is a crisis. This will help you to earn a lot of respect amongst peers and juniors. Treat all co-workers with respect, listen to them and value their contributions.

Don’t Criticize Others

If you are not happy with the performance of your subordinates, make sure that you discuss it with the person in private or in an official manner meticulously. Avoid ticking off a person in public, as it might become a hot topic of gossip and you might become the center of a spicy and negative discussion.

Believe in yourself

If you are a target of gossip; believe in yourself and your abilities. Things will die down on their own. Talk to people who have a problem with you and have an open discussion. Avoid acting superior to colleagues who are on the same hierarchical level. Don’t think of quitting; it’s the same everywhere. Always remember: quit only when you want to, not because you have to.
