In the life of Indians this is one of the most dominating word at least since last two decade no other word is able to challenge influence that this word holds for the life of Indians from all aspects of life.

Before I go for elaborating influence of this word on life of common people let us see one hilarious side of Finance. Two politicians, one in the government and other in the opposition were engaged in a conversation about the financial progress of the country. Opposition politician was criticizing government for increase the debt circle around the country. Ruling politician was not agreeing with this as in his view these increased foreign loans have increased the safety of the country without any increase on front of expenditures of armed forces. Opposition politician was surprised to listen this as you are to read this. Look at explanation given by the ruling politicians. “Look dear! In presence of these loans no country of world will dare to make an assault on India just because every country knows in that condition these powerful countries will run for protecting India as this is the only way for the safe recovery of their loans.”

Market always moves with the principle of “Demand and Supply” and this word finance has changed this lot as this helped the market to generate a real huge demand and subsequently forced for more intense supply. In fact this is base from where boost of industrial growth has been originated. A few days back American President while addressing the world price hike of commodities held responsible the purchasing powers of Indian Middle class for this. If we put a serious look over the increase in buying powers of Indians this is not hard to find “Finance” responsible for this tremendous growth of purchasing powers.

Luxurious life styles and commodities were the unfilled desires of human beings especially of middle class of the society. What magic this word finance has done that it provided ways for the expression and fulfillment of these non satisfied desires. Facility of paying in part has prompted Indians to go for even buying the things of no or minimum use and as the result country is emerging as the place with hopes of biggest boost for market on global levels. It was amazing experience of CEO of Samsung to learn that Indians are interested and ready to put expenditure even higher that US citizens for the high definition and multi utility telecommunication instrument.

Finally I would like to conclude with curse of finance and like to quote one person was crying out side his house and when asked about the reason, he replied “I have taken honeymoon loan from a finance company as I fail to pay just three EMI in time so just know the officials of finance company have taken my wife with them”.

Blogging which was started as online personal diary is no more restricted to purpose and has developed as the third media, after the print and electronic media, of mass communication, though like the third world countries, still blogging, the cyber media is into the developmental phase but surely it is emerging as the strongest media of mass communication. You can imagine the power of this third media of mass communication from the facts that china is trying to monitor all the bloggers of the country and the super power America is working to develop software which can work as watch dog for the blogging world.

It was evening of 3rd November 2007, when the electronics media of Pakistan went to turn into the black screens of television in the country with emergency imposed by the Gen. Parvez Musharraf. The only source of information available was the blogs and bloggers. Print media and electronic media of the Pakistan were under the powers of General and facing a censorship but the blogging world was making it meaning less with success. It is fact that internet is not still life style and part of day to day life for Asians like the western countries, still a very handful about less than 10% of population of these countries are the citizens of the cyber world, hence the penetration is comparatively very low but it doesn’t deny the power this cyber media holds.

Why the blogging is spreading wings and why the people throughout the world are findings an added attraction towards the blog? Information and technologies are expanding vigorously and so are the human wills of expressing self. In the physical world it is not affordable for everyone to cope with the cost of expressing media, either print or electronic and the reducing rates of internet are prompting to maximize use of cyber media, beside that a bit of earning from the blogging is the added attraction for the over rush for the blogs and the incredible number of bloggers in the cyber world. Camouflaging of personality / personal information is also prompting people for use of blogging for the self expression.

Look at the Americans there are said to be world leaders but the reality is that life of an American revolves around just two words or rather three worlds. An American will always busy either of thinking or making love and money or in leisure time love to watch or play baseball or tennis though a considerable high attraction for Golf is also there but Love and baseball are the best time pass for the Americans. This trend of American life style is spreading all over the World especially the citizens from the under developed and developing countries are finding it hard to escape from temptation of adopting this life style.

In the basketball ball keeps on changing hands very frequently and on the rotation basis. This changing hand and rotation is might the key of American life style. Look at the American they are always in search of better and hence always keep on changing partners in love and jobs. Through out the globe vocabulary like “between the jobs” is available only in America and interestingly peoples their love to be in this status as they love baseball.

India: Third World Country

Thatwas my first overseas trip and sun was just awaking, being get prepared for providing life to earth, when wheels of my plane were about to touch the runway of world’s most busy airport Newyark. I was wondering about the technology used here for various works, which are being done in my country with the use of human power. All of sudden I voice interfered my thought process saying that my luggage got checked and I can collect that near to exit. I was about to leave when whispering to two officers diverted my attention, “poor fellow”, “I think he is from India, the third world country?” was the first voice which was replied by second voice” Shit on our government”, “I can’t understand why we are allowing these creatures from the undeveloped countries to get landed on the earth of America?” Before I say something both entered into a room there and now the walls have taken them away from my vision. I shacked my head and started pulling my steps towards the exit gate. All the way to my hotel, seating on the back seat of taxi I was thinking “Is being Indian, native of so called third world is an abuse word in America?” “Does the citizens of the third world countries are the inferior human?” Before my questionnaire gets further shape I was at hotel. Let me introduce myself I am a retired science teacher who had landed on American surface for a prize ceremony to be held at Chicago on the next day evening and I being the winner was invited and will have just day for my stay at the city as on next day at early morning I will be on the flight heading towards Chicago. Being a writer, it was a busy day for me, as I wish to utilize this opportunity to have a look on the life style of the city, but when at night I was on bed again the word “Third World” collided with my mind.

Every journey means reaching to particular destination. Beginnings always carry with self ending. So as this time, as there was no hurdles hence my thought process succeeded in entering the territory of conclusions. What I concluded that being a citizen of third world is not a thing of shame but in fact it is a matter of proud. Whatever may the rest of the world say or whatever may be their vision but when they consider my conclusions surely will be forced to change their attitude towards looking at we, the Indians. Don’t have a deep cold respire; I am going to share with you all the points that helped me to reach to conclusions.

Starting with our human society, irrespective of geographical location, political views or way of governance, every human society is divisible into just three classes, this is because the present era is the era of economics, everything is being revolved around the axis of money, Upper class, Lower class and middle class. As for as responsibility of setting the norms of social behavior is concerned it lies at the hands of middle class, which is said to be mixture of goods of upper and bads of lower class but in the true sense represents the human society as the other two classes can be taken as the extremist ends of the human society.

As per our own Indian philosophy of life human beings are composed of or the holders of three qualities, Rajas, Tamas and Satvik. Rajas quality make human hungry of power and utilizing all the available comforts only for the self, Where as for the humans with Tamas quality every thing starts and ends with the physical satisfactions, the ultimate aim of life for them means fulfillment of physical wants. Where as the Satvik quality make human to think about the source of comfort, and its effect on human society before start enjoying that comfort. Here what we are observing developed countries are trying to keep all the technologies of life comforts under their control and undeveloped countries are willing to enjoy that. The developing countries, so called third world, like India are keeping the balance of these two so the existence of human societies on earth remains intact for the longer period of time.

I know techno addicted population will not flow with above arguments and still prefer to call rubbish to all this, hence here is something for them also. It is very primitive and basic fact of science, an atom is composed of three particles namely Electrons, Protons and Neutrons. The farmer two can be taken as extremist end with opposite properties to each other starting with presence of Negative and positive charges respectively. The third particle neutron which not only helps in increasing the moss of atom but also determine certain specific properties of atom, which is the source of the nuclear energy to which we are looking as our future constructive as well as destructive weapon. The so called “Third World” can be taken as this most powerful particle of atom “Neutron” because it the behavior of human societies from these countries that not sets the guidelines for all but also leads the human ocean for the social change. The increasing demands in the global market for the Indian Yoga and Ayurvedic are not only supporting my views but also underlining the importance of the so called third world for the world human societies.

So friends next time when you heard word “Third World” in reference of self don’t allow to develop any kind of inferior complex within the self but feel a proud of being so because you are the front runner of the field of social change.

Blue Moon : A Natural Phenomenon

It will happen once in blue moon Navjotsingh Sidhu not laughed at a thousand times listened joke [Reference: Laughter Challenge, one of the most famous hilarious T V show] . Once Pankaj the director of show, asked one of the candidates giving audition, “Dear, I am not able to see any laugh in your presentation.” Candidate replied “What is this sir that is siddhu’s job he will find that will make people laugh at appropriate place.” We are here not for a discussion this rare happening of literature blue moon but for the natural phenomenon that happen once in several years and this year is happening in the early hours of night of the 30th June and on basis of which this phrase “once in blue moon” came in existence.

Time period taken by the earth for completing one rotation arround the sun is called year and a year is divided in to twelve months. We are calculating month in two ways
Solar Month: one twelve part of a year this means 30 days, 10 hour, 29 minutes and 3.8 seconds.
Where as according to Indian colander, A solar month is defined as the interval required for the Sun's apparent longitude to increase by 30o, corresponding to the passage of the Sun through a zodiacal sign (rasi).
Lunar months are measures from one New Moon to the next.
1 lunar month = 29.53059 days

As lunar months are shorter than solar months hence it happens that over a specific time there will be a solar month with two full moon days and this phenomenon is called blue moon. A solar month is almost equal to 30.5 days and lunar month is equal to 29.5 days this difference suggest occurrence of blue moon once after every two and half year or about 41 times in a century. An interesting fact is that this blue moon is not for the Americans, as previous full moon day there was on the evening of 31st May and not on the 1st June.

It is quite possible that when we talk of rare natural phenomenon, we also talks about effects of this phenomenon on the human life, as for as Blue moon is concerned it is sure to affects the life of coastal living human beings because moon also causes tides. As in modern times our life is become slave of technology and our relation to night sky is almost broken due to 24 hours on going electricity, beside that this is a coincident between the natural phenomenon of moon phases and human made calendar hence we can say human life remains unaffected from the blue moon. An interesting thing according to Islamic calendar there is nothing that can be called the blue moon, as each month of Islamic calendar starts with new crescent moon it means Full moon day will fall in the mid of the month and remove the chance of occurrence of two full moon days in a month.

POWER

Have you ever thought what was the reason for the so many wars, starting with Mahabharat to World Wars? What is force behind the presence of American forces, thousand of miles away from their motherland, in the Vietnam or Iraq or Afghanistan? Why Ernico frame, Alfred Nobel and other scientist are engaged in the creation of weapons for which they are also sure that these will be used only to destroy the human presence on the earth? Every nation of the globe is well versed with the demolishing capacities of nuclear energy but that is not preventing them to expense a real huge lot of national income for accruing this?

All the above questions are with same single word answer. All the above human activities are for gaining and showing that single word.This single word that from the centuries has converted men into an inventor, a dictator, a businessman is composed of just five laders like that of human body composed of Five elements, Prithvi[earth],Agani[Fire] Vayu[Air], Jal [water] and Aakash [Space], I know by this time you had started thinking and searching your vocabulary for that word hance I am stoping play with your patience and providing you with that word POWER.


It is the temptation of gaining power that is forcing human beings to work beyond their capacities, implement non ethical things in life, create a deceptive image of self. This greed of power has lowered the importance of life values in the human life because today we are in the blind rat race of either gaining power or showing the same. This human tendency of illustrating self power is not a new adaptation to human behavior but is an intigeral part since so many centuries, just think why the King Ravan was forced to kidnap Sita, not because of, in the revenge of cutting the nose of Shuranpankha [His sister] by the Laxman, but he wish to show the powers that he holds. The same attitude is reflecting from many of actions taken by the Americans in the present era. What is meaning of recent statement of Rahul Gandhi with reference to Ayodhya issue, it is nothing but the expression of the power, with a hidden desire of gaining more power.

I have chosen, from the dictionary , following meaningful words to define this word power.

P = Prepared
O = Obituary
W = Works
E = Eschatology
R = Rotation

Who holds power? One who is able and prepared to work in accordance with the doctrine of death and final destiny to understand the meaning and rotation of the notice of death is a person with power.


Coming to concluding part of the article What is power? Just think? It is said that Sanskrit is the mother of all languages and in Indian history a very high importance is given to Var[Boon]. The word power is in fact fusion of two Hindi words Pavan meaning Sacred and Var meaning Boon. Will you can deny that in this world there are a few handful human beings which can be isolated as the most powerful one? Now the question is that why this is ? The answer is very simple because these are the blessed people. These are blessed to serve the humanity like the Mother Teras. Every body in the world is with the seeds of this power one who desire to cultivate, take care with proper watering of realization and providing of manure of raising self, above the self can grow and enjoy the fruits of this tree of power.
